Same Day Crowns Near You

We are your local dentist for single-visit tooth restorations. Why go to the dentist a 2nd time if you do not need to? One appointment, one shot and no impressions. Set up a visit for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the most recent technology for same day crowns.

We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Single Visit Crowns?

It is a technology for restoring damaged teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth stronger and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your visit, you and your dentist will go over the details of the procedure and your dental practitioner will address any concerns you might have relating to the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the brand-new exclusive software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's proper shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to create your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Temporal-Mandibular Joint

TMJ stands for temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Problems in this joint may be caused by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle tension. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and five muscles are involved in the area. If something goes wrong a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can trigger:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Trouble in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, in some cases extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling spaces in between teeth, etc. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. In some cases a plastic mouth piece is utilized to prevent clenching or grinding that is contributing to the problem. If untreated and required to extremes, surgery might be needed to repair a terribly damaged joint.
