Same Day Tooth Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Finding problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Huge on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for much easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
