Get A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns address aesthetic needs, fix tooth function, and enhance the general health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have big broken down fillings, a crown can secure and preserve the rest of the natural tooth.

To improve your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also replace an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal treatment, a crown is typically placed over the remaining tooth structure to preserve aesthetic and tooth function.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

The Discussion For Today Is:

Dentures (Dental)

There are different kinds of dentures, however they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is analyzed and a decision is made as to which teeth will have to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are placed in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. Once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular functionality and look return and one just carries on as usual. Frequently implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is important to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when as compared to natural teeth. Dentures impact the kind of food you have the ability to eat, your self-confidence in social circumstances, as well as your self-confidence.

Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the exact same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper full denture will usually feel much better than a lower complete denture. In order to drastically improve the fit of a lower full denture, we regularly recommend using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants put in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and significantly improve comfort. Often, the implants can even be put in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for a number of years.
