Below are some of the advantages of same day crown technology, which crafts terrific same day dental crowns and same day inlays and onlays.

By far the best benefit of same day crown dental restoration technology is the time you'll conserve. Generally, getting a dental restoration will involve two different visits to your dentist's office that are weeks apart. Multiple visits} are needed because the last dental restoration needs to be crafted at an off-site dental laboratory. With same day crown technology, dental restorations are crafted in-office. There's no have to get multiple days off work or reorganize your schedule. One appointment is all you'll need.

Same Day Crown Dental Restorations Are Customized For Your Mouth

The same day crown machine uses the latest innovation to develop a digital impression of your teeth. Using this three dimensional digital design, this device then develops a custom-made restoration that fits seamlessly with the broken tooth and your adjacent teeth.

Same Day Crowns Are Resilient

Although same day crown restorations are crafted and developed on-site, the restorations themselves are exceptionally resilient. In fact, the restorations that are crafted by these devices are roughly three times as strong as the dental restorations that are crafted at a dental laboratory.

They Look Real

In addition to their strength and toughness, same day crown dental restorations blend in flawlessly with your smile. The inlays and onlays from the same day crown device have a sort of chameleon effect. When in place, they take on the color and distinct shadings of the restored tooth, meaning that your smile will look fantastic and, more significantly, look natural.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. Today We Will Be Talking About:

TMJ (Temporal Mandibular Joint)

TMJ means temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Problems in this joint may be caused by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle stress. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and five muscles are involved in the area. If something goes wrong a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can trigger:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Trouble in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, often extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can include replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling spaces in between teeth, etc. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Often a plastic mouth piece is used to prevent clenching or grinding that is adding to the problem. If neglected and required to extremes, surgery may be needed to fix a badly damaged joint.
