Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns implied coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of 2 times. The very first visit included getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a few weeks later, a second check-up enabled the temporary crown to be eliminated and a new long-term crown to be put on your tooth. We use the latest innovation making dental work more convenient for you and your busy schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown innovation to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in just one visit with a small camera to develop a 3D picture of the tooth that has to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer required.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This innovation can produce the brand-new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is connected to your tooth using a bonding material, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

The Conversation For Today Will Be:

Fillings

Fillings are done to remove decay, and replace the afflicted tooth structure. It is called a filling since new material fills the hole that the decay left. Now days most teeth are treated with bonded tooth colored composite resin fillings. Caught early enough, cavities can be treated easily and painlessly. If not treated, decay can lead to tooth pain and/or infection, and the tooth would need a root canal treatment or extraction.

There are 2 kinds of fillings; amalgam or silver fillings, and composite or white fillings. Composite fillings are tooth-colored to blend in with the remaining natural part of the tooth. Most dentists provide both types of fillings, however find that a lot of their clients prefer the composite fillings.

The term composite refers to the actual filling material which is a mixture of glass or quartz filler in a resin medium.

Composite fillings supply good resilience and resistance to fracture in small-to-mid size restorations that have to hold up against moderate chewing pressure. Less tooth structure is eliminated when the dentist prepares the tooth, and this may lead to a smaller sized filling than with of an amalgam.

In addition, composites are "bonded", or adhesively attached, to the tooth, often enabling a more conservative repair for the tooth. Composite fillings require that the tooth be kept clean and dry during the entire filling procedure and they go through stain and discoloration with time. The life span of a white filling can depend significantly on where it is in your mouth and how heavily your teeth come together when you bite.

Composite filling material is also commonly used to repair front teeth that have actually chipped or worn. Where possible, esthetic bonding of composite material to front teeth is generally much cheaper than veneers or crowns. However, bonding generally does not last as long as veneers or crowns.
