Why Choose Single Visit Crowns?

There are numerous benefits of single visit crowns over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, conserving you considerable time away from your job and family.

  • Convenience: With same day crowns, there is no need for a short-term crown, which removes significant potential pain and inconvenience of a lost temporary restoration. Only one appointment means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No traditional impressions resulting in no gagging.

  • Looks: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this brand-new innovation restores your teeth to their natural strength, appeal, and function and carefully match the composition of natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the traditional technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay gorgeous for many years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and technology can also be used for fillings. Since they are made out of porcelain, they are more resilient than white composite fillings. They are much more aesthetic than mercury including silver fillings and tougher because of bonding innovation.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in specific situations where a tooth has actually been broken or become stained. These are normally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably affordable ways instead of through a more costly dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
